I love old Westerns !!
You know the kind I'm talkin bout.. Audie Murphy and Gabbie Hayes, The Lone Ranger and Tonto, Roy and Dale, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Lee Van Cleaf(sp), Richard Boone(Paladin), Bonanza, Gun Smoke, Wagon Train, Rawhide, and all those that dealt with dirtbags with a Heavy Hand, and more or less, tamed a lawless frontier..
A lot of what those old movies and TV Shows depicted had a lot of truth in it and showed us how thangs were done back then..
Those old shows showed us that somebody with a badge was scarce and that when somebody showed up at your door they were usually met with a gun in their face till their motives were discovered..
Back then when a dirtbag went on a rampage he didnt have many choices.. His choices were mostly limited to gettin the hell out of Dodge cause he was either gonna have Matt Dillon on his ass or a posse was gonna be makin tracks to catch em and put em in jail or a vigilante committee was gonna be comin after em with a rope and a bullet..
Even if the Badge or the posse managed to get to the dirtbag first and get em back to jail, alive, there was a lot of times that the vigilante committee would show up at the jail with torches and pitchforks and demand that their brand of Justice be administered to the dirtbags..
I'm just gonna come out right now and admit that I thank its time for the vigilante committees to come back !!
The dirtbags are winnin folks !!
We have cities and even states in this country that are designated SANCTUARY for the dirtbags.. The old movies had The Badlands where the dirtbags would run to to hide and be safe from justice, now they can pick between OVER 30 major cities in this country where they can hide and not have any worry bout facin a badge or a judge, and even if they do get caught and see a judge, they will just be let go.. Do any of you call that JUSTICE ?? I damn sure dont..
We've got dirtbags runnin our streets day and night rapin and robbin and killin and stealin and sellin dope to the kids, and the Gubmint's solution is to put a fuggin camera on every corner.. How bout we put a gotdam HANGIN POST on every corner ?? It would be a helluva lot cheaper and have a helluva lot better results..
In case you are wonderin what brought this on, its the story bout the 4 kids that got shot in New Jersey and 3 of em killed, execution style, and the dirtbags that did it and their history in the JUSTICE SYSTEM !!
This story is just the icin on the cake tho, there are plenty more that have got me to this point..
The best(or worst, dependin on how you look at it) was the story of the illegal that raped and beat a 9 year old girl a coupla years ago in Ohio.. Seems there was a small community within the city that had a safe house for new illegals and one of its inhabitants drug this little girl in the house and repeatedly beat and raped her.. Seems that a vigilante committee soon after came in the middle of the night and set the house on fire and left a message on the outside walls for everybody to see.. Seems that they had a MASS EXODUS of illegals soon after and the local shop owners were reportin that business was WAY DOWN !! And, NO, the badge didnt catch the dirtbag and neither did the vigilante committee.. But if you thank I would feel bad if they had found the dirtbag swangin from a near-by tree with his dick stuffed in his mouth, you would be badly mistaken !!
So just keep in mind the story of Ohio and the vigilante committee the next time you hear a badge tellin us "there was nothin more we could do" !!

Well, you know some people say one thang to your face while in the presence of one group then the complete opposite in the company of a group of another mind..
While you might get 10K people that might completely agree with you, in their own mind, but, there may not be 1K of those that will voice in agreement with you in public..
Not that I would consider you one of those, but, that you may have readers and friends that might take offense to this and hold you responsible for linkin to somebody that feels this way..

I dont get a helluva lotta referrals or links from other blogs but get most of my outside traffic from content searched they are lookin for.. And the list of stuff I've talked about here has been a long one and I've been here at the same addy for a good while with a near-steady stream of bullshit pourin out..
That gives me a pretty good archive where a lot of bloggers have some sort of Great Revelation and dump or drop a blog to change formats or direction of content or just quit..

not to worry, if i disagree with you, i will say so.
I like old westerns too and miss them now that they are not on TV much anymore. I also like Robert Duvall and will watch any movie that he's in. The movie "Open Range" had one of the most authentic gunfights of any movie I have seen. I've watched Lonesome Dove so many times, I lost count. And the movie "Broken Trail" had the best scenery of any of his movies.
You're right though, there are some places that crime is running rampant and I wouldn't dare drive into one of those areas without my 45 along with me. Some of those areas are the direct result of politicians that have made them that way either by restricting peoples rights to protect them self or other reasons that I won't get in to. And there is some that will sweet talk you if alone face to face, but if their buddies gets in there with them, then they turn on you like a pack of rats. I have no further use for anyone like that when they are your friend one minute and stab you in the back when you're not around.
But maybe we'll make it through all this in time.
But why wait for somebody like that creepy little bastard, John Mark Carr, to come visit your family ??

Hell, tell me how we can get law and order back in our country again. People are wussified beyond belief. They bemoan the state of crime but always look to someone else for protection or for answers. I blame the American people for what has happened. The majority of us have just sat back and let our damned government remove everything that was good about our country. How in the hell did we go from a nation that believed in God and country, honor and duty, right and wrong to where we are today?
The 60's and onwards sure did our country in. Sometimes wonder if it wasn't planned.
Cheryl, we let the ACLU get an upper hand and had too many bleeding heart liberal judges put on the bench. That's a couple of the problems. Then we got the politically correct crowd wanting us to say things just right to not offend anyone and come to find out that when we do that we got offended and no one cares. Then there's that POS called the UN, they need to be booted out of this country and we need to quit giving them money as they are nothing more than a way for all the third world countries and terrorists tell us what to do.
We need to put pressure on all those states that don't let their citizens carry arms concealed and make sure that if you have a permit to carry one in your state that every state should recognize it the same as a drivers license. Then do what my state and several others did, place the Castle Doctrine into law in those states so that if someone threatens you, you can put a piece of lead up their butt and not worry about the perp suing you for doing it.
You need to keep in contact with your politicians and flood their email inboxes out with your ideas and thoughts on how the government should be run. Call their office all the time so they know you're not kidding around. With enough pressure like that, they will think before doing something as they don't want to lose votes and their job.

Yea man, you tell it right! I can't count the number of time's that I heard on the news that some girl was missin and they end up findin her dead. Then find evidence that showed it was some rapin, killin loser that has been let out of prison not once but twice! they are never rehabilitated. they act like they are, but they aint! They aught to hang the frickin judge that let em out right next to them and make all the rest of the damned judges watch! that would stop that crap right in its tracks. hell put the whole damned thing on tv!
