Still Kickin
I've just spent a miserable 4 days with an attack of my Chrohn's Disease and still aint up to 100 percent again yet.. Sure am gettin tired as hell of chicken soup too..
Bein sick has left me with little to relate other than the effects of it and I'm really sure you dont wanna hear the shitty details !!
The bright side is that I finally let Miss Minnie Pearl in the house with me to keep me company and she took to bathin me with sympathy and her tongue and rarely leaves my side unless she has to..
I'm gradually gettin back to almost normal except I tire real easy now and still caint get very far away from the bathroom.. But its just so damn aggravatin to see so much I need to be doin and just dont have the energy to do much of it, but I am tryin to tackle small portions of it at a time..
The pisser is that a good cold front is gonna come thru tomoro and its gonna be the perfect time to be at the farm and get a deer or a hog hangin up.. The store is out of my favorite Sugar Cure right now but is puttin it at the top of their list to order more.. Gotta have it to make my special Virginia-type Smoked Hams !!
Thangs are slowly gettin worked out and a little bit more organised now so maybe it wont be so long till I post again.. Hope everybody is doin better than I have been and I hope to have the comments back ON soon so I can hear from Ya'll.. See ya soon..

Hope you're feeling better and were able to get out of the bathroom for Veteran's Day. Good luck with your hunting. I hope you get a couple of those hogs that got into your garden this spring!

Bout noon I tuckered out and came in and had a lite lunch and then a short nap and was back to "kickin like a chicken" again..
The Mrs. wanted some tall lamps moved to her house and I loaded em on the trailer and brought em over here and now get to get on my puter again and I'm tryin to get a cell phone activitated too.. Dont tell anybody that Wild Bill has a damn cell phone tho.. You can bet it will be turned off a helluva lot more than turned on tho !! It'll be nice to have in case I need to call the poleece to come collect a body..
There have been a lot of break-ins around my house lately and I can report it when I catch em breakin into one of the places around me..
Its just that havin a damn cell phone makes me feel like I need to start wearin pink panties or somethin..
The cold front aint gonna last but another day here so it wouldnt have done me any good to have gotten a hog to cure.. Wouldnt be enuff cold or long enuff to get it done good and right..
I'm gonna give the chicken soup one last meal and then tomoro I'm goin to the store and get a big rib-eye and pig out on it and some stewed taters.. I'm ready for some food I can actually chew on !!
Good to see that folks are still stoppin by here.. The Mrs. has several little projects for me to do over here so I should be here regular for a while longer..

Hope you get to feeling better Wild Bill. I'm sitting here now debating with myself on if I should head out to the woods this afternoon and see if I can get a whitetail positioned in the cross hairs of my scope.

Sorry to hear of yer troubles WB. I got my own too.....dealing with a BULLY at work. Talk about mental and emotional stress. Just one person ruining the morale of the entire floor.
I am the only one with the cahones and moral fortitude to deal with her....but, it takes its toll. It may in the future cost me my job...oh well, always been a fighter and not one to give up. So it goes.

Thank God your back! I was getttin worried that you would not be around here any more. Wish I was goin hunting, nobody in this house will eat anything I kill. Got me a new lab puppy, thinkin bout trainin her for next years duck season. thanks for comin back.
