A BRAIN-DRAIN

I was outside workin in the yard yesterday when my scooter had a TOTAL electrical system melt-down !!

It HAD an electric brake on it but it overheated and fried and set the whole damn bunch of wires under me to smokin and meltin.. So I started grabbin wires and yankin em loose and pullin em off the batteries and finally got the whole thang disconnected beofre it started blazin..

The electric brake is completely fried and I took it off and spent this afternoon puttin $50 worth of new wires, switches, and solenoids on the scooter.. I had to start from SCRATCH too.. From the batteries to the switches to the solenoids to the motor, but I just got it all put back together and it has been a puzzle of major proportion..

Dont know what I'm gonna do for a brake now, but I'll thank about that after I give my brain a rest.. And on top of that, everybody in our whole house has come down with a summer head and chest cold.. I magine its the same thang that everybody else has been passin around.. Our's dont seem to be as severe as what some folks have desribed.. Some said they got over their's in a day or two while others said it lasted a month..

Right now I'm mentally exhausted and and just dont have the energy to get excited over anythang and thro a big rant at it..

Mornin' WB.

Wires? Hell I don't do wires anymore. I never really did wires to start out.

Sounds like the neighborhood's been a little fractious this last week.I remember times when the neighbors weren't exactly the type of folks you would want nearby.

I used to get all boiled up about it and seriously considered takin thangs into my own hands so to speak.

Finest way to get yourself killed, so nowadays I think it's better to shut up and try to ignore it.

So long as the doors and windows are secure and the fences tall enough it just don't matter anymore.

I hate the bastards just the same though and wish em all a horrible death.

Pork n beans sounded good WB.

Things go on pretty much the same here and my verra precious weekend is gonna get spent doin all the thangs I like. Yep - cooking, eatin, drinkin beer and wishin I was retired already.

Well WB, wish I was there to help. Couldn't help much with the money, but wiring and stuff like that comes naturally with me. Course that might be because I have spent many years working on same.

Stopping it, well..I had a bud one time that used a flat paddle stick on his wheelchair. He would stick in there in some fashion between the wheel and the frame and it would stop..but in a kinda skid to the left.

Of course, you could take the anchor off your boat and just throw it out..

Sorry, I'm just so overloaded this morning, it ain't real.

Got Sweet Sarah ready to go, Her main girlfriend from across the street here, My daughter is getting Sweet Hannah Mae ready, Sweet Sissy is fed, the cats also...even remembered to feed the birds and water the garden.

Now it's off to a Septemberfest before it gets too damn hot.

Oh, got Sarah's old stroller out, washed out al the spiders and their webs and cleaned it with a good solution of bleach, dish soap and elbow grease and followed it up with Sarah and her galfriend wiping it off dry.

Now for me...I'm already bushed and my knees don't feel like I will make it very far at this shindig, I'm hoping they might have some wheelchairs, but knowing this bunch, they won't.

Have a great weekend...we are sure going to.

Greg, them neighbors already know that I dont play fair when they jack with me too much.. PAYBACKS A BITCH !!

If they piss me off I pile a buncha nasty shit out in the empty lot and wait till the wind gets JUST RIGHT and set it afire and watch em start chokin and gaggin and turn my Boom Box WAAAAAY up with some Charlie Daniels and Bocephus and David Allen Coe and a bunch of the other Redneck music I've got !!

And I rarely shut and lock all my doors.. Unless I'm gone I usually leave my front door wide open.. Sometimes on a rowdy Friday or Saturday nite I'll close and lock the front door .. But since we have The Castle Doctrine now, I may just not even lock it then and just sit and wait and see if I have any volunteers to test it..

Sounds like you're neighbors are weird sorta folks if they don't like Charlie D.

I just got a whole bunch of new CD's. Merle and Gretchen will piss the neighbors of big style when I get home next week.
