Movin Kinda Slow Again
I guess I got too hot out at the farm when I was mowin the other day.. It took a lot of energy out of me and I aint got a lot of get-up-and-go .. I slept a lot yesterday and have been lazy again today too.. I'll be glad when I get over this shit and get back to feelin better and have some of my energy back..
What really sucks is that I was feelin so good and had plenty of energy and the will to do somethin with that energy and now I dont..
I love bein outside and doin stuff.. I hate bein stuck inside and would rather be outside, even if I was doin nothin more than just sittin outside, and when I feel like this I dont even care about sittin outside..
Whats worse, is that when I feel like this my attitude sucks all-the-way-around !! I read the news and most of the stuff that usually gets me rantin and ravin just gets blown off.. It aint that I dont thank about it tho, I do, but I dont feel like sayin anythang about it.. And there is a bunch of shit happenin that really needs talkin about but I just dont feel like talkin bout it tho.. That bothers me and lets me know that somethin just aint right about how I feel and how I'm actin..
Its been wet and rainy and foggy for so long here that today with the sun shinin and really just a great day all the way around, it just gripes me that I dont feel like gettin out and doin somethin.. Tomoro I'll probably feel good and want to do somethin and it will be shitty weather again.. But if that happens, I'll just get on here and rant and rave my little heart out about somethin or everythang..
Such is life !!

Hey WB. Those feelings of being tired after doing something can be caused by high blood pressure. I know, because I have HBP.
If I forget to take my pills (I take two a day) I get that feeling pretty fast if I try and do anything. Even just walking.
I take those pills plus two of the small coated aspirin, and two of those pills that make you piss all the time, has a long name, but it is just a strong "water" pill. Women used to take them when they got bloated. It's for my HBP also.
Then I take various herbs, cause they are cheap and seem to help me, but it might all be in my head. But the docs say if you have a positive attitude, you will have better health.
Hard to keep a positive attitude now, isn't it WB?
Take care and if this goes on much longer, you might want to try and get an apt. at your VA place. Course it will take a couple of months for them to see you.

Well, WB, Papa Ray has good points. Also, you were pretty sick a bit ago. We just don't bounce back like we did when we were younger.
So sit tight, eat well and get rest. Get your blood pressure checked. I just know the WB we all know and love will be back!
Papa Ray, BP is a big problem of mine too.. Another is my temper.. I got really pissed when I was mowin the other day and it most likely pegged my BP.. Another is my Vitamin B12 .. I take meds for my Chrohns SOMETIMES, and it depletes my V-B12.. I used to take the shot every month and felt great for about 3 weeks afterward, but the Docs have been against givin me the stuff since they tried to put me on that Prozac imposter.. I stopped the Prozac but they still wont give me the V-B12 anymore.. The pills just dont work !! Its like a whole new world to me after I have a shot of B12.. Its like havin a dose of Viagra and a big snort of cocaine that lasts for about two weeks !!
Believe it or not, I got a notice FROM the VA yesterday wantin me to call and schedule an appointment with em SOON.. Said it had been a while and I should come in.. I'll keep you updated on when I call em and when I get my appointment.. I'm out of my gall bladder pills and have been wantin to go and get a new Rx but lost the number.. Whatever I go for dont matter tho, they want to give a full physical, blood work, and 1000 questions anyway..
I'm pretty sure they will want to go ahead and do the gall bladder surgery this time !! I just hope I have time to get more of the garden in before they do it.. I can recup while its growin then..
I just caint say enuff good about my VA Hospital and my VA Clinic !! Dont take long to get an app. and the folks are good there too.. The worst part of it, is if I have to have my meds in a hurry and have to just wait at the pharmacy instead of havin em mailed.. I never have to sit for hours and wait to see the Doc.. I check in and they start takin blood and vitals and after that its long before I go in to see the Doc..
I've tried them herbs and stuff, but they are bout like the B-12 pills.. Dont do me much good..
As bad as I hate to, I thank its time I got my teeth pulled and got dentures.. I dont thank there is such a thang as a GOOD dentist, so I may have some ugly comments about them !!

I didn't know you were having dental problems. Believe it or not dental problems will make you sick as a dog. I have had several buds that had problems along that line.
After getting their teeth out or fixed, their health improved.
Going to a private clinic (you see them in the paper or tv, stay open late) you should be able to get a B12 shot, viagra or almost anything. I use one sometimes when I need something and don't want to wait on VA.
It sounds like you may not be aware of MyHealthNet which is the VA's Medical all in one website.
You can go there and register, go to the RX section and either order your prescriptions, check on them and such. It will show the prescriptions that you have active as well as the old inactive ones.
It's a pretty good website all in all, lots of features, tips and info.
If your already up on this, forget I mentioned it.

I've been signed up for almost a year now.. Took forever to get it workin right..
I've got real bad teeth.. I got my nose shot off and the Docs down at Wilford Hall put me a new one on but broke my face all to pieces doin it.. That and a bunch of sinus infections killed all the roots to my top teeth and they have been fallin apart since..
I got a disability ratin on em about 10 years ago but havent gotten the guts up to go and get em out.. I keep rememberin em chisilin my face apart while I was fully awake back then and I just caint talk myself into lettin somebody do somethin like that to me again..
My Daddy had real bad back problems till he got his out..
I read where they have connected Altzheimers to bad teeth too.. Seems that recurrent infections lead to it..
They kept just wantin to fix a few and I wadnt gonna go for that.. I knew that they were ALL bad on top and would never hold up..
Most of the problem is that I still caint decide if I would want the "implants"(screwed in) or the "snap ins" or the simple "glue ins" .. My gag reflex is a real bitch and I thank the glue ins would be the best for that cause, but the screw ins would be the least "obtrusive" if I could ever get used to em..
But in 50 years I've only had 1 (one) cavity filled and 2 wisdom teeth pulled.. Dentists have never profitted much off this ol boy !!
But the "writin is on the wall" and if I could have em do my teeth at the same time they got me knocked out to do the gall bladder I would be a happy camper.. A long, drawn-out process wouldnt make me very happy at all..
WB, I doubt that you could get dental and gall bladder at the same time with the VA.
You didn't say if you were taking meds for your BP. If your not, you are asking for an early death.

Sounds like you got a real fear of dentists. A little advice.
Get Over It.
I've had extensive dental work and so have my buds in the last five or so years and all of us are better off for it.
Even my Sweet Sarah has had three fillings, one tooth pulled out by herself and one by me and a string on her Lab Puppy.
She cried for about thirty seconds. I know your stronger and can handle pain more than her.
If the VA will pay for it get the screwins. If not get whatever they will give you.
Getting the teeth pulled out will be nothing, they shoot you up, pull them and off you go.
Course you gotta liquid diet or soft diet for awhile, or at least until your gums get toughened up.
My Dad had the rest of his teeth pulled at about fifty. He tried a set of false teeth he got in old mexico, but they didn't fit well, so he used them only when he was out and about. He mostly just gummed the hell out of his food, and he said it wasn't much of a problem, except when he ran into a tough steak.
He died with a new set of teeth he got here in West Texas. Said that chewing on a good tough Texas Steak was reward enough for getting it done.
Don't be a woosie, get your teeth fixed.
