Just Add Milk

Cookies For Breakfast



1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/4 t. baking soda
10 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
2 cups cornflakes
1/2 cup raisins

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Add flour and baking soda; mix well. Stir in bacon, cornflakes and raisins. Drop by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 18 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks. Store in the refrigerator. Yields 2 dozen.

If you are expectin company for the holidays, then you can fix these little morsals ahead of time and then spend your time visitin instead of cookin.. Also good for the "commutor" family..
